About Clara



Clara is Italo/Argentinian. She grew up in Argentina and after her graduation in Industrial Design at the National University of Mar del Plata in 2005, she decided to move to Europe.

She started her experience in Illustration in 2006 while working as a designer in fashion companies in Barcelona, doing technical illustration of a variety of different clothes and accessories, including handbags, umbrellas and shoes. In 2012, Clara began to focus on illustrating and prints, using watercolours, pen and mixed media techniques, inspired by nature and people. She has being living in the UK since 2014.

She has also developed and shared her work at art courses in Barcelona at Taure academy of Arts and Carles Gabaldá workshop. In London at Central Saint Martins Art College, exploring watercolours, digital illustration and other techniques.

Two pieces of Clara’s artwork were selected to be displayed at Southampton City Art Gallery’s Open Exhibition for the event “The four seasons” from 3rd February to 21st April 2018. She was also invited in 2016 and 2017, to donate her artwork to contribute to the Anglo-Argentinian Society at the Argentinian Embassy of London.

Clara is a versatile person who likes to explore and discover new things, she is very creative and active person. She also enjoys taking photographs and creating products made in fabric.

Clara works as a Freelance Designer from her studio based in Hampshire.
